Valentine’s Day
is celebrated every February all over the world.
It is believed that in ancient Rome,
an emperor ordered that
all young men had to go to war and as such,
not allowed to married.
A priest named Valentine
defied the order
and
secretly helped young lovers get married.
When the emperor found out,
he ordered that Valentine be put to death.
What he did for young lovers was remembered
and is still celebrated on
St. Valentine’s Day…
